History
Chapel Ministries began in 1967 with the introduction of "Chapel Vision" and "Somebody Loves You" on channel 19. In 1970, Reverend Ken Yocum offered services and was joined by believers to open Sunday Services meeting at the Fox Theatre in Peoria, Illinois.
In 1972, Reverend Ken chartered Chapel Ministries, offering Chapel Vision, Somebody Loves You, and Our Savior's Chapel.
The Fox Theatre eventually closed and Our Saviors Chapel moved to Metro Centre Cinema. The chapel offered services at Metro Centre until about 1989 when it moved to Peoria Players Theater.
Chapel Vision, the Sunday television service, and Somebody Loves You, the daily televised devotionals, have been aired consistently for over forty years. Chapel Vision retired in November of 2007.
